A few weeks ago after coming out of meditation I was led to post a translation of The Lord’s Prayer which was translated from Aramaic directly into English on Facebook, what some call the Aramaic Lord’s Prayer. This translation is very different from the Lord’s Prayer that we typically know. Because that was translated from Aramaic (or possibly Hebrew) to Greek to Latin to English.
This post went viral and was loved by many. However, it was controversial to some and they had a lot to say about that.
I post it here because I deeply love it. It also speaks directly to Somatic Awakening®. I honestly do not know if it is a direct translation (see below for more details.) But, I do know that when I drop into my heart and soul…I feel, sense, and intuit Yeshua’s deepest truth pouring from these words. So, I share it here and ask you to discern for yourself if it resonates as true.
The Aramaic Lord’s Prayer
“O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration,
soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide.
Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit of your mission.
Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire.
Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow and flourish.
Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us, as we release others from the entanglement of past mistakes.
Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true purpose,
but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment.
For you are the ground and the fruitful vision, the birth, power, and fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again.
And So It Is!”
How This Fell Into My Hands
As it was told to me this is a direct translation of the Lord’s Prayer which was translated from Aramaic that came out of a class at Wisdom University around 2010. Unfortunately, the friend who was a student there has passed on. So, I do not know who actually did this translation.
When I first heard my friend read this translation of the Aramaic Lord’s Prayer, I was in such awe my jaw drop dropped open in amazement. The translation spoke to me on such a deep level that I didn’t know how to put it into words.
Since then I have sat with it often over the years. A few weeks ago when I taught the event Divine Feminine Christ Consciousness it literally jumped out at me from my computer. So I printed it out and put it on my altar. After a long meditation a few days later, I felt moved by spirit to post it on Facebook and it went viral. As of this writing, it has been shared 3,400 times. Many people powerfully resonated with it and yet others had very strong and openly negative opinions of it. So much so I was called out to create healthy boundaries, as well as reminders of kindness and the importance of loving one another. I had NO IDEA that it was going to viral or create such a stir.
Historical Context
However, this is not the first time an Aramaic translation of this prayer has occurred. In the book, “Prayers of the Cosmos: Meditations on the Aramaic Words of Jesus”, Neil Douglas-Klotz transcribed many of Jesus’ words from the original Aramaic, including multiple versions of this prayer. From his translations, you’ll see that Aramaic is actually a very symbolic language.1 Therefore, there are multiple different meanings possible within each symbol. My take on it is that if we were to translate all of Jesus‘s words from the direct Aramaic we may discover different and deeper meanings to what Jesus said. To find out more study Aramaic. As I say above, I leave it up to you to decide whether this is a direct translation.
For those interested in biblical accuracy…Many believe that the gospels were only written in Greek. However, it is very possible that the Gospel of Matthew was written in Aramaic. I discovered more information regarding this from a Catholic website, “Throughout Church history, the accepted opinion has been that Matthew wrote his Gospel in Hebrew, but since the last century the view has become common that he wrote in Greek instead. Recently there has been a number of scholars returning to the earlier opinion that he wrote in Hebrew or Aramaic. Some have suggested that Mark and Luke were also written in Hebrew or Aramaic.”2
How This Translation Correlates to Somatic Awakening®
For me, one of the most potent lines in this Aramaic Lord’s Prayer is this, “Soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide.” I’ve read this line over and over again. Because within it lies the essence of the practice of Somatic Awakening®, the healing modality and spiritual practice that was transmitted to me directly from Mary Magdalene during my decade-long Dark Night of the Soul Journey. What she taught me healed me so deeply and awakened me so profoundly that I naturally started using it in my practice and now it has become my soul’s mission to teach it to others.
The entire form of Somatic Awakening® can be summed up in this one potent line, “Soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide.”
Within Somatic Awakening® we “soften the ground of our being” with our higher self witness consciousness moving into powerful presence and direct contact with all parts of us that are contracted, dense, shut down, and hurting. With the powerful unconditional presence and care of our higher self, these parts naturally begin to soften.
We “carve out a space within us” by trusting, opening to, and activating the Conduit of Divinity. This is a river of divine healing and awakening energy that runs through the scaffolding of our higher self down and into our body. This powerful energy engages and comes into intimate contact with the hurt and contracted places. It engages the places that are most suffering, dense, and ready to come back home to the peace and love that resides underneath the pain from trauma, contractions, or programming. In doing so, we literally transmute the density within us and “carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide.”
The latter part of this phrase, “where your Presence can abide” opens us to multiple aspects of awakening to divinity within and without.
In the process of Somatic Awakening®, you learn how to engage higher and higher levels of Divine energy flowing within and without. You learn how to engage the energy of your own higher self/spirit so that this higher part more fully engages and leads your day-to-day life, as well as the potent Conduit of Divinity that transmutes the densest levels of pain and trauma. You also awaken and more fully activate the divine within…your own Holy Source Connection which resides within your soul. (I’ll be talking about this in more detail in another blog coming out soon..so stay tuned.)
Overall, Somatic Awakening® is a multi-modal practice that guides you through this entire process step by step. It’s a powerful healing process …and much more. It is also a process that literally, “softens the ground of our being and carves out a space within us where your Presence can abide.” This process opens the doors to heal and transmute the density that weighs us down, helps us awaken to the divinity that we truly are, and embody this divinity within us so that we can come back home to the truth of our being.
Somatic Awakening® as A Divine Feminine Christ Consciousness Practice
Recently it was re-iterated to me by Mary Magdalene and Yeshua that Somatic Awakening® is indeed a Divine Feminine Christ Consciousness Practice. It was also shared with me that in the past there were very similar types of practices in early Christianity before it was formalized as a religion. Admittedly, I have not read anything of this nature. However, many early gospels were burned and those who practice such things were called heretics…it’s indeed a messy history. But, I have received a great deal of information regarding this history from the Akashic Records (which will be in my upcoming book.)
When it comes down to it Somatic Awakening® is a mystical form of healing and awakening. And, just like all mystical forms, it does not adhere to dogma or fundamentalistic perspective. So, you definitely do not need to consider yourself a Christian to practice it. It is a form that opens the door for you to have your own lived, felt, and expressed experience of Divine healing and love which transmutes your shadow and ego, and leads you directly to the truth of your divinity.
If you are interested in finding out more about the principles, perspectives, and guidance that Somatic Awakening® offers then I invite you to attend the FREE Wisdom Class Transmute Trauma and Awaken Your Life. P.S. For those who are sticklers for 100% accuracy this is what I will share…I honor your perspective. However, there are so many things that we do not know about early Christianity. Saying that it is for sure one way or another is akin to aligning our word with a history that may or may not have existed. If you rail against what I am saying here then I invite you to look at your need “to be right”. As a mystic, there is one thing I know for certain we find our connection to Yeshua and Mary Magdalene through our heart, soul, and spirit so when you read this I invite you to first look here. May We Remember What Jesus Was Really Here To Teach Us…to LOVE that includes Loving One Another!!!!
